Xiaomi has just previewed its humanoid robot. It surprisingly has some airs of the Tesla robot announced by Elon Musk in August 2021. The Chinese manufacturer is getting closer and closer to Tesla.
Xiaomi gets into humanoid robots
Tesla and Xiaomi will look more and more alike in the coming years. On the one hand Xiaomi is making a robot and soon a car and on the other Tesla is making cars and soon a robot. The parallel ends there, however, between the two companies.

A very unusual presentation

We can imagine it psychologically accompanying single people or helping with simple daily tasks.
At the moment it really is a gadget at a disproportionately high price. Because we have to talk about the very salty price. It should be between 600,000 and 700,000 yuan, or between 86,000 and 100,000 euros all the same. It is therefore very difficult to imagine mass marketing in the months or even years to come. We suspect that the Tesla Bot, if it exists one day, will also be at too high a price.

Finally, it is more than just a gadget to amuse people. A communication tool to extend the aura of Xiaomi? Currently it is exactly what one can think by seeing its capacities on stage. Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, did not elaborate on its concrete usefulness. We can only rely on the characteristics of the robot, as well as the interaction it has had.
