What are the best-selling electric cars in Europe?

The Tesla Model 3 is no longer the best-selling electric car in Europe, it has been dethroned by… the Tesla Model Y. The latter sold 45,165 copies, compared to 40,179 for the Model 3. On the third step of the podium, we find the electric Fiat 500 with 32,837 sales. It is followed by another Stellantis model, the Peugeot e-208 (23,025), of which one in five models sold in Europe is electric, neck and neck with the Volkswagen ID.4 (23,010).

Compared to 2021, the list of manufacturers remains unchanged: Volkswagen is still ahead of Stellantis and Tesla, but Tesla (-0.5%) and especially Volkswagen (-5.8%) are losing market share where Stellantis is gaining ( + 1%).
