The Neta S also wants to challenge the Tesla Model 3

After the XPeng P5 or the Nio ET7, another Tesla killer from China is launched on the market. This sedan has a respectable size of 4.98 meters long, 1.98 meters wide and 1.45 meters high, with a wheelbase of 2980 mm. The empty weight of the single-engine version is 1990 kilos, the twin-engine version weighs 2130 kilos with 19-inch tires.

This Neta S offers a drag coefficient of only 0.216 with an aggressive design but which can have a feeling of deja vu. Sporty and elegant, this sedan is distinguished by very slim LED headlights for daytime driving and main headlights in the second level more hidden and integrated into large air intakes. The Hozon Neta S is built on a specific platform that supports different forms of traction. It will be offered with two options, with two electric motors and four-wheel drive that develop a maximum power of 340 kW , equivalent to 462 CV, with which it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Its battery, developed by CATL, offers maximum range of 650 kilometers although the option single-engine, rear-wheel-drive offers 715 kilometers . In the future, Hozon Auto is planning an option with an energy extender that will increase the range maximum up to 1,100 kilometers. =

The engines are made by Wuxi CRRC Hofer Powertrain, a joint venture between Chinese CRRC.EV and German Hofer Powertrain. Each develops 231 hp and 310 Nm of torque. The twin-engine four-wheel drive version thus develops 462 hp and 620 Nm. The top speed is limited to 185 km/h on both versions.
