The Google Play Store has just celebrated its tenth year of existence. To mark its anniversary, the Mountain View firm unveiled a revamped logo.
The Google Play Store is already 10 years old. Appeared in 2012 to replace the old Android Market, this online store has known and still knows a huge success with billions of users.

To celebrate this decade of existence, the Californian giant unveiled a new logo this week, largely inspired by its predecessor. We still find the famous inclined triangle that forms the Play sign, but the colors of the latter have been modified to better match the other applications in the Google ecosystem. Google Chrome’s logo also underwent the same change earlier this year.

For the occasion, Google has also launched a Google Play points boost period. It is now possible to activate it for 24 hours by clicking on your profile in order to benefit from 10 times more points with each purchase.
