Failed twice by the financial policeman of French football and administratively relegated to N1, the club with the scapular partly played its future this Thursday during a hearing before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), provided with a decision of justice that the Girondins hope will be decisive in order to be kept in Ligue 2.

After three hours of hearing, the Bordeaux delegation left the CNOSF shortly before 5 p.m. Gérard Lopez granted a few words to the press before getting back into his van to leave the premises: “It was a conciliation. We were able to explain what we had to say. Now, we will see what will happen next”, only entrusted the president of the Girondins.
CNOSF notice Friday evening or Monday morning
The leaders of Bordeaux, engaged in a race against the clock to save the Girondins, pleaded this Thursday with the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) to try to obtain a conciliation opinion favorable to their maintenance in Ligue 2. The CNOSF conciliators must now deliberate and deliver their opinion from Friday evening, and more probably Monday morning.
If the request for conciliation gave birth to a favorable opinion in Bordeaux, the file would be referred at the beginning of next week to the Executive Committee of the French Federation (FFF) which would have to decide urgently before the resumption of Ligue 2, Saturday July 30.
