Saint-Etienne have found their striker
The Greens, looking for a striker, seem to have finally found the desired profile: it is Ibrahima Wadji, a 27-year-old Senegalese striker who plays in Qarabag, Azerbaijan. The player had been supervised by Loïc Perrin on August 9 during the preliminary round of the Champions League between Ferencvaros and Qarabag in Hungary, during a match where he scored twice.
This pocket striker (1.75m) has flattering stats of 20 goals in 36 games in the Azerbaijani league last season. Globe-trotter, he had previously worn the colors of Haugesund in Norway where he had scored 19 goals in 43 games.
Wadji has the merit of being unanimous within the ASSE recruitment unit, which is impatiently awaiting his arrival. This could be formalized on Monday or Tuesday. A profile quick to arouse the curiosity of Saint-Etienne supporters who are hoping for a good pick to come and strengthen their attack.
