OM: Cho on his way to Sociedad

Bad news in perspective for Olympique de Marseille. During this summer transfer window, Angers striker Mohamed-Ali Cho (18 years old, 32 games and 4 goals in L1 this season) was considered a priority by Marseille president Pablo Longoria to strengthen the attacking sector available of coach Jorge Sampaoli.

Despite a close agreement with the SCO (see here), the Spaniard has obviously failed to curry favor with the young French talent. Because this Saturday, the Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo ensures that Real Sociedad has found common ground regarding a future 5-year contract with Cho, who has given the green light for this operation. The Basque club is now in advanced discussions with Angers to complete a deal estimated at 12 million euros.
