Ligue 2 has a new leader. Thanks to its success in Laval (2-1), Guingamp alone took the lead in the standings. The Girondins de Bordeaux have obtained their first victory of the season in Rodez (3-0) while Bastia crushed Niort outside (4-1).
First success for Bordeaux
A week after their draw against Valenciennes, the Girondins beat Rodez (3-0). From the 4th minute, Danylo Ignatenko followed a cross returned by Sébastien Cibois to open the scoring with a low shot (4th). The young Dilane Bakwa then took advantage of a great job by Fransergio full axis to score the second Bordeaux goal (14th). The exclusion of Pierre Brady then facilitated the work of the Marines and Whites who scored a final goal through Marvin De Lima (90th+4). They thus obtained their first success in Ligue 2.
Guingamp leads thanks to a magnificent goal
Laval may have regrets. The promoted, winner last week for his return to the second division, let the match slip away when he was leading. Anthony Gonçalves quickly allowed the Tangos to be ahead on the scoreboard (5th). But in the second half Maxime Barthelme equalized for the Bretons (56th). While the meeting was balanced, Jérémy Livolant gave victory to Guingampais with a superb half-volley from 30 meters which lobbed Maxime Hautbois (74th). Taking advantage of the other results of the day, En Avant took the lead in the Championship.
Bastia rolls out against Niort
Niort had a complicated day. After having had to deny the appointment of its coach Sébastien Desabre as the new coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the club lost heavily against Bastia. And it went very quickly. The Corsicans were already leading 2-0 after two minutes. Dylan Tavares (1st) and Frank Magri (2nd) threw a chill in the lair of the Chamois by scoring one after the other. In the middle of the first period, Abdoulaye Ndiaye took part in the celebration by scoring the third goal with a header (21st) just before Magri scored twice (24th). At the end of the match Bilal Boutobba reduced the gap on penalty (82nd).
The PFC, Amiens, Valenciennes and Grenoble winners
Thanks to Abdoulie Sanyang (32nd), Grenoble won 1-0 against Sochauxas Amiens in front of Annecy (goal by Tolu Arokodare in the 82nd). The Haut-Savoyards remain the only team not to have obtained a single point since the start of the season. Valenciennes and the Paris F.C. also picked up the three points, respectively against Haven (1-0) and to Quevilly-Rouen (2-1). The only draw of this multiplex took place at the Nouste Camp between Paul and Dijon (0-0).
