Lance Armstrong married near Aix-en-Provence

SCAN SPORT – The fallen cycling champion and his companion for 14 years said yes in a luxurious castle in Provence.

He announced the happy news on his Instagram account. Last weekend, Lance Armstrong and Anna Hansen, his partner for 14 years and mother of two of his five children, said yes. And they chose France to celebrate this moment of happiness.

The wedding took place at the Château de La Coste, a luxurious estate located in Puy-Saint-Réparade, about twenty kilometers north of Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône). The former American rider, dismissed in 2012 from his seven victories in the Tour de France for doping, therefore did not show resentment.

The Texan, who will turn 51 next month, shared some photos of this union with Anna Hansen, a yoga teacher ten years his junior. Commenting on them with a nice message. “The best day of my whole life. It was an evening full of laughter and tears of joy. I married the love of my life. Anna, you have been my rock for these fourteen years and I would not have survived without you. I love you so much. I will always be there for you and our family.»
