Sleeping well is essential for good health. This common sense rule has just been confirmed by a study conducted at the Cardiovascular Research Center in Paris by a team from Inserm. The work, the preliminary results of which were presented on Saturday August 27 at the congress of the European Society of Cardiology in Barcelona, ​​demonstrates that good quality sleep reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke.

Conversely, disturbed nights are associated with a higher risk of developing these cardiovascular pathologies. The analysis has not yet been reviewed by independent scientists.
