A PSG player is finally starting to make money. After the interest of Sevilla FC, Thilo Kehrer is ardently coveted by West Ham. The English increased their offer after a first Parisian refusal.
Is the PSG transfer window becoming idyllic? In the purchasing department, the Parisian club does not encounter many problems with the arrivals of Renato Sanches, Vitinha, Nordi Mukiele or Hugo Ekitike. The shoe pinches rather on the sales side, which must be very numerous for the sports adviser Luis Campos. But, even on this side, things are progressing positively and the degreasing continues its course. Areola, Wijnaldum have already left. Kalimuendo will join them in the next few hours by leaving for Rennes and Thilo Kehrer could be next. The German is West Ham’s priority and the Londoners intend to take this matter seriously.
First offer refused, West Ham outbids Kehrer
The Hammers urgently need to recruit in central defense. Indeed, their summer recruit Nayef Aguerd is injured in the ankle, being out for the next two months. Moreover, Issa Diop is going to be sold to Fulham. To fill this gap, West Ham turned to PSG where Kehrer’s profile seduced him. It remains to convince the Parisian club on the financial level. Despite the end of his contract in June 2023, Kehrer will not be offered by PSG.

According to the journalist Sky Sports, Dharmesh Sheth, West Ham has made a first proposal to the Parisian club for its German defender. This was refused by the Parisian management. This prompted the Hammers to raise their stake in stride. PSG’s financial demands have never been publicly revealed but according to multiple sources, Kehrer’s price tag is set at €20m. If West Ham aligns with this amount, PSG can have a smile with an unexpected sale for this long-time undesirable in the locker room.
