Verstappen puts his Austrian GP helmet up for auction
In this context, Max Verstappen decided to offer his original helmet that he wore during the Austrian Grand Prix for an auction in support of the foundation Wings for Life. This non-profit organization founded by the co-owner of Red Bull Dietrich Mateschitz and the two-time motocross world champion Heinz Kinigadner works to find a cure for spinal cord injuries. Max Verstappen intends to help this foundation to raise funds for their research. And he should get a good jackpot.

Already more than €130,000 collected
The auction will end on September 4. And for the moment, the helmet of Max Verstappen has a winning bid of €132,500. The amount can and most certainly should move by the end of the sale. Whoever wants to outbid will have to go up to €135,000. With the time remaining, we imagine that the helmet of Max Verstappen should reach a fairly substantial sum. Especially since there is not only that to win. In fact, the pilot Red Bull will sign their helmet and hand deliver it to the winner of the auction.
