Ethereum Whales Dump Shiba Inu to Stake Lido Staked ETH

According to data provided by WhaleStats, Lido Staked ETH (stETH) has overturned the Shiba Inu to become the largest token held by monetary value among Ethereum’s top 100 whales.

Ethereum’s largest whales currently hold over $321.3 million worth of stETH. This represents around 10% of their total holdings. Meanwhile, Shiba Inu’s holding among ETH’s top 100 whales dropped massively to $148.4 million amid news of the launch of its new CCG game. It represents approximately 4.5% of total holdings. While the top 500 whales of Ethereum hold around $152 million worth of SHIB.

The 100 largest Ethereum whales held approximately $510 million worth of SHIB tokens. While the top 500 whales held approximately $652 million worth of Shiba Ine tokens.

Meanwhile, the accumulation of ETH by Ethereum whales may be reflected in its rising price. The price of Lido Staked ETH jumped over 10% in the last 24 hours. stETH is trading at an average price of $1,865. Its 24-hour trading volume jumped 80% to $5.19 million.

Lido DAO up 7%.

WhaleStats also reported that Lido DAO (LDO) landed on the list of top 10 most bought tokens by Ethereum’s top 100 whales in the last 24 hours.

The price of LDO is up around 7% in the last 24 hours. The Lido DAO is trading at an average price of $2.75, at press time. Its 24-hour trading volume rose 30% to $195.8 million.

However, the price of Shiba Inu has also jumped over 3% in the past 24 hours. SHIB is trading at an average price of $0.000013. Its 24-hour trading volume rose 27% to $486 million.
